World food day

A global reminder that daily choices are political!

rediscover nourishment beyond industrial food.

Food used to be local, visible, and rooted in seasons.

World Food Day was our way of slowing down the noise — to ask one question:
What are we really nourishing when we eat?

This campaign invited our community to reclaim awareness in the simplest acts — cooking, sharing, and learning about the fats that shaped our health and our history.

HIGHLIGHTS

the campaign in motion

The every day nourishment campaign unfolded across platforms — from social storytelling to collaborative creation — becoming a living movement of awareness.

through october, we shared stories that redefined what it means to “eat well”

the newsletter: where awareness meets storytelling

Every week, we released a new edition of our newsletter — not just sharing news, but personal stories, reflections, and rituals that connect science with lived experience.

Throughout the campaign, we collaborated with four different creators, amplifying their voices and the ways they bring real nourishment into everyday life.

Cooking & Practical Guides

Throughout the final month of the campaign, we shared daily real-food recipes — simple, timeless, and nourishing.

These are now archived in our Cooking and Practical Guides section, as a living library for those choosing awareness over convenience.

Each recipe honors the fats and methods that sustained our ancestors — from tallow and butter to olive oil and ghee.

The Knowledge Hub Launch

Within the same season, we launched the SeedOil.com Knowledge Hub — the heart of our educational ecosystem.

It brought together five interconnected sections:

  • Core Science: key research on fats and metabolism.

  • Disease Links: the connection between seed oils and chronic illness.

  • Community Insights: collaborative reflections and field voices.

  • Cooking & Practical Guides: ancestral methods and recipes.

  • Campaign Archive: the story of each editorial movement.

The Hub became a space where awareness meets application — a bridge between knowledge and daily choice.

Campaign Impact

World Food Day – Every Day Nourishment became the foundation for our growing community and educational ecosystem.

Christmas

What makes Christmas meals different

Christmas food isn’t just “more food.” It’s a different eating environment altogether. On Christmas, meals tend to look different in a few very specific ways:

Larger portions
Plates are fuller, seconds are common, and meals are designed to be abundant — that’s part of the celebration.

More dishes mixed together
Proteins, sides, sauces, bread, desserts — combinations you don’t usually eat in a single sitting all show up at once.

Longer eating windows
Christmas meals often stretch over hours: appetizers, the main meal, dessert later on, leftovers in between.

More salt and richer fats
Holiday cooking uses more butter, sauces, roasting, and seasoning — not because something went wrong, but because it’s festive food.

Less movement and later nights
Sitting longer, walking less, staying up later, and disrupted sleep all change how digestion and energy feel the next day.

None of this is a problem. It’s context. Your body isn’t reacting to “bad choices”
It’s responding to a different rhythm than usual — one that’s specific to Christmas.

What to ignore — and what actually matters after Christmas

Christmas brings up a lot of sensations. Not all of them deserve your attention.

What you can safely ignore today

  • Temporary fullness or bloating

  • Feeling “off” compared to your usual routine

  • A different hunger pattern than normal

  • The urge to label the meal as good or bad

These are short-term responses to a short-term context.
They don’t require action.

What’s actually worth noticing

  • Which foods felt grounding versus draining

  • How meal timing affected your energy

  • Whether stress played a bigger role than ingredients

  • How familiar fats and simple meals feel today

This is the difference between reaction and information.

Christmas isn’t feedback on your habits. It’s data about context.

Three Easy Holiday Swaps

Holiday cooking doesn’t need a full reset to feel better the next day. Small, intentional swaps change the experience more than people expect. Not by making meals “lighter,” but by making them easier to digest, calmer on the system, and more satisfying overall.

The Ingredient That Shapes the Entire Meal

This isn’t about perfection or rules. It’s about understanding how a single choice can change how food tastes, how it cooks, and how the body responds the next day.

Convenience Without the Shortcuts

Most convenient food today is built to last longer, not to nourish better. That tension is real: wanting to eat well, care about ingredients, and still live a full life without cooking every meal from scratch. That’s why we partnered with Cōpow. They’re working inside that reality, not denying it using real ingredients, real farms, and real cooking, without seed oils or shortcuts. If this resonates, it’s worth taking a moment to get to know their work.
